She then stuffs it with her homemade <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/grandmaingrids.com\/frommykitchen\/index.php\/2020\/04\/14\/learn-to-make-rice-o-roni-from-scratch\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rice O Roni<\/a> ties it up and bakes it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1 whole chicken<\/li><li>2 cups <a href=\"https:\/\/grandmaingrids.com\/frommykitchen\/index.php\/2020\/04\/14\/learn-to-make-rice-o-roni-from-scratch\/\">Rice O Roni<\/a> uncooked divided <\/li><li>string to tie up chicken<\/li><li>rack or a few celery ribs <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Directions <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Prepare your <a href=\"https:\/\/grandmaingrids.com\/frommykitchen\/index.php\/2020\/04\/14\/learn-to-make-rice-o-roni-from-scratch\/\">Rice O Roni<\/a> and let it cool you can make it the day before (if you have self control and don&#8217;t eat it all before you use it.) I like to divide my rice o roni I pull out a 1\/4 of my rice for stuffing the chicken if I need more I can always add to it but you don&#8217;t want to cross contaminate.  Clean out the part of the chicken like the liver, gizzards and such if you like those you can add them back into the rice o roni or you can save them for stock.  De bone the chicken as shown in the video below.  Set chicken on a rack or on celery ribs in a pan and bake in a pre heated 375\u2109 oven for approximately 1 hour.  If chicken is frozen place in a pre heated 350\u2109 oven frozen and bake for possibly 2 hours until internal temp is 165\u2109.
