{"id":758,"date":"2020-08-17T18:10:50","date_gmt":"2020-08-17T18:10:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/grandmaingrids.com\/frommykitchen\/?p=758"},"modified":"2020-08-17T18:10:50","modified_gmt":"2020-08-17T18:10:50","slug":"chinese-lo-mein","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grandmaingrids.com\/frommykitchen\/index.php\/2020\/08\/17\/chinese-lo-mein\/","title":{"rendered":"Chinese Lo Mein"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>2 carrots julienned <\/li><li>1 onion sliced<\/li><li>2 tablespoons of diced ginger<\/li><li>2 ribs of sliced celery<\/li><li>1 cup sliced napa cabbage<\/li><li>1 cup sliced regular cabbage<\/li><li>4 cloves diced garlic<\/li><li>1\/4 cup of soy sauce<\/li><li>1\/4 cup of oyster sauce<\/li><li>2 tablespoons hoisin<\/li><li>1 cup of vegetable stock\/chicken\/beef or plain water<\/li><li>1 tablespoon cornstarch<\/li><li>1 tablespoon water<\/li><li>1 package of noodles<\/li><li>2 tablespoons canola oil<\/li><li>1\/4 teaspoon toasted sesame oil<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-heading\"><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a fry pan add canola oil and heat.  Add onions, ginger and garlic. Saute for a few minutes then add carrots and celery.  Mix up cornstarch and water into a slurry.  Add stock, oyster, soy sesame oil and hoisin to vegetables. Add cornstarch slurry.  Then add cabbage mix up until it gets a little soft mix in cooked noddles until all mixed together.
