Ingredients
- 2/3 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips (you can use other chocolate and cut it up)
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 cup of powdered sugar sifted
- 2 eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 6 tablespoons of flour
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 425℉. Spray oven safe ramekins with spray and brush to make sure fully covered in the corners. In the microwave melt butter, then add chocolate and heat 30 seconds at a time until chocolate is all melted and butter and chocolate are smooth. Add sifted powdered sugar and stir to combine. Add eggs and egg yolks stir to combine. Stir in flour. Pour the batter evenly between your ramekins. Bake at 425℉ for 12- 13 minutes until edges are firm and center is soft but not super jiggly. Let cake cool for 2 minutes run your knife around the edges and invert on a plate or serving dish and serve immediately with ice cream, whipped cream or powdered sugar dusting the top.
Variation
Molten Butterscotch- use butterscotch chips and brown sugar instead of chocolate and white sugar.
