Fruit Frozen Yogurt

Ingredients

  • 460 grams or approx 1 pound of fruit. Fresh or frozen
  • 1/3 cup sugar or you can leave out for a sugar free treat
  • 1 cup homemade plain yogurt
  • zest and juice from 1 lemon

Variations : 2 tablespoons aged balsamic, 2 tablespoons basil, flavored sugars.

Directions

Slice strawberries into large bowl. Add sugar and stir. Let sit for around one hour for fruit to get juicy. If not using sugar skip this step. Add fruit and lemon juice to blender or food processor whirl to break up fruit. Add yogurt and blend all together. Place in a bowl that can go in the freezer let mixture freeze. Pull out and process again in the food processor. Put back in the freezer. You can do this 2 or three times if you want lighter fluffier frozen yogurt. Serve and eat.
