In-Person Class Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change! Here’s our policy if you need to cancel your spot in a Grandma Ingrid’s cooking class:

  • More than 7 days before class: We’ll happily provide a full refund of your class fee, minus a $5 ticketing fee.
  • Within 7 days of class: If you need to cancel within seven days of the class, we’ll issue you a gift certificate for a future Grandma Ingrid’s class, provided we are able to fill your spot. This allows you to join us at another time!
  • No-shows: We’re unable to offer refunds or gift certificates for no-shows. Class
  • Cancellation by Grandma Ingrid’s: In the rare event that we need to cancel a class due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, you’ll have a few choices! We’ll offer you a full refund, a ticket to the rescheduled class, or a gift certificate to any future Grandma Ingrid’s cooking class.

Q: Do I need a PayPal account to order tickets?
A: Not at all! While we use PayPal to securely process payments, you can check out as a guest using any major credit or debit card. We also happily accept cash or Venmo for in-person registrations.

Q: How much are your classes?
A: Our standard cooking class is $90 per person, which includes a $5 ticketing fee. Occasionally, a few special classes might have an additional materials fee, or we might ask you to bring a specific ingredient. Any extra costs will always be clearly noted in the class description!

Q: How long do your cooking classes typically last?
A: Most of our cooking classes are designed to run for approximately 3 hours, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. However, depending on the specific menu and the hands-on nature of the class, some may finish a bit earlier or run slightly longer. We always aim to ensure a relaxed and comprehensive learning experience!

Q: Where are the in-person cooking classes held?
A: All of our in-person cooking classes are held in our cozy classroom right in our home, located at 234 Norwood St, Arroyo Grande, CA 93420. We can’t wait to welcome you!

We strive to accommodate various dietary needs. Please notify us of any allergies or restrictions when you register so we can plan accordingly. While we do our best, please be aware that our kitchen handles common allergens like nuts, dairy, gluten, etc.

Q: Is there anything else I should bring to class?
A: Just your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! We provide all ingredients, equipment, and a recipe packet for you to take home. You might consider bringing a reusable bag if you wish to take home any leftovers from the class.

Q: Can kids attend the class?
A: Yes, absolutely! Kids are welcome to attend our classes. Please note that they will need their own ticket, as they receive the same wonderful experience and class supplies as adult attendees.

Q: Can I bring my own apron?
A: You’re welcome to bring your favorite apron! We also have a lovely collection of clean and sanitized aprons available for you to use during the class.

A: We encourage you to capture your culinary creations! Feel free to take photos and share them on social media. We’d love for you to tag us!
