Ingredients
- 4 cups chopped pretzel rods (measure them once they are chopped)
- 1 1/2 sticks of butter (3/4 cup) melted
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cup peanut butter (for crust)
- 1/3 cup peanut butter (for chocolate)
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Directions
In a food processor chop up pretzels to desired size. I like some little chunks in mine. In a bowl mix together pretzels, butter, 1 1/2 cups peanut butter and powdered sugar. Pat this down into a foil lined sheet pan or for thicker bars a 9 x 13 pan. In a microwave safe bowl melt chocolate chips and 1/3 cup peanut butter for 1 minute stir and then heat for 30 more seconds. Pour over to of pretzel bottom and smooth out. Put pan in the fridge for approximately an hour to set up. Pull out of pan and remove foil. Place on cutting board and cut into bites.
