Easy Chocolate Pudding

Makes 4-6 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 2 cups of milk (plant based may be used)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)

Directions

In a small bowl or in your sauce pan mix together dry ingredients well to get out clumps. Pour in milk and mix well, turn on heat to medium low and heat while stirring constantly until thick. Add butter and vanilla extract. Serve warm or cold. Cool by pouring in small containers or bowl and cover with plastic wrap pressed against the pudding and place in the refrigerator. Additional options add 1/4 cup of peanut butter to pudding and leave our the butter. Switch up the extracts to make different flavors. **To Make it Vanilla just leave out cocoa powder.
