Dehydrator Breakfast Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 Cups of applesauce
  • 2/3 cup of honey
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla
  • 3 cups of rolled oats
  • 1 cup of sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup of raisins or chopped dates
  • 1/2 cup of ground flax seed
  • 1/2 cup of sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup of coconut

Directions

Blend until smooth:
Applesauce, honey and vanilla
Mix all together, this is your “cookie base”

Mix in dried fruit of choice, rolled oats, sunflower seeds, chopped dates, sesame seeds, flax and coconut. Let stand for 1/2 to 1 hour to allow the oats to soak in flavors Drop by spoonful onto dryer tray, dry until firm

Variations:
1/2 cup chopped nuts, raisins, hemp hearts, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, blueberries, or any other dried fruit you like use your imagination. You can cut down on honey mixture and go completely with out and just add the applesauce. You can add banana’s for sweetness. Or you can use Apple butter for a completely different taste.
