Savory Pretzel Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder (garlic salt or granulated as well)
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of celery salt
  • 3 Tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Tabasco sauce
  • 4 quarts of popped popcorn (approximately 1/2 cup of un popped popcorn)
  • 2 cup of pretzel sticks or any shape broken

Opt (1 1/2 -2 cups salted mixed nuts)

Directions

Preheat oven to 275 F.  Melt the butter over low heat.  Add garlic, onion, celery salt, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco Sauce.  Mix thoroughly.  Spread the popcorn, pretzels and nuts, if using, in a large shallow baking pan or large bowl.  Drizzle with the butter mixture and toss to mix.  Bake in the oven for 1 hour, stirring 4 or 5 times.  Cool. Store in a tightly covered container.  Makes 4 quarts.

You can double, triple or quadruple easily, you will probably want to as it goes fast.
