Enjoy this fun way to serve corn dogs with “flair!”
Ingredients
- Hot dogs
- little smokies cocktail wieners
- cheese
- sausage
- jalapenos
- bacon
- Grandma Ingrid’s Cornbread (recipe below)
Directions
Mix up a batch of Basic Corn Bread, mix, divide batter into the Mini-Muffin Pan, and add hot dog slices. If you use cocktail wieners you won’t have to cut them.
Bacon, wrap the Hot dog with bacon or pieces in the batter, cheese dogs
spray the pan. There are so many things you can put in your batter, cut string cheese into bite size pieces and place in batter, cheddar cheese squares, pepper Jack, jalapeno peppers, be creative. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. Try making these to go along with a big pot of chili. They are yummy!!!! How fun to make this with your kids…..or to just bring out the kid in you!!
Bake for 15 minutes at 400°F.
