Grandma Ingrid’s Hollandaise

Small Batch

  • 3 tablespoons Knorrs Hollandaise powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cube butter
  • 1-2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Large Batch (amount made for class)

  • 9 tablespoons Knorrs Hollandaise powder
  • 3 cup milk
  • 3 cube butter
  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 6 tablespoons lemon juice

Melt butter and cream cheese then add knorrs powder to melted butter to make a rue. Add remaining ingredients and reduce heat and simmer until hot. Do not boil
